Coriander Essential Oil is a pale yellow liquid with an orange-fruity aroma and a hint of anise.
A strongly aromatic herb about 1 metre high with bright green, feathery leaves and small white flowers. The flowers are followed by round, brown seeds, which are distilled to obtain the essential oil. Native to Europe and Western Asia, naturalized in North America, it is cultivated throughout the world but the oil is mainly produced in Yugoslavia and Romania. Used as a domestic cooking herb there are various chemotypes of the same species are found according to geological location.
