Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil is a yellow-brown liquid with a sweet, warm, spicy, comforting aroma.
A strongly aromatic herb about 1 metre high with bright green, feathery leaves and small white flowers. The flowers are followed by round, brown seeds, which are steam distilled to obtain the essential oil. Native to Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Burma and South India. It is cultivated in India, Jamaica and Africa - each region tends to have its own species. The Madagascan variety is considered to be superior to the various other types.
