Chamomile Roman is a pale yellow liquid with a bluish tinge. A warm, sweet, apple aroma.
A small and stocky perennial herb growing up to 25cm high. It has daisy white flowers that are larger than the German variety. The whole plant has an apple-like scent. Native to southern and western Europe and naturalized in North America. It is cultivated in England, Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy and the USA. There are many species found throughout the world, four of which are native to the British Isles, but the only used therapeutically is the Roman variety.
