Plant oils extracted from flowers, trees, bushes, and herbs can be used to assist with a wide variety of ailments. The use of essential oils in our everyday lives can uplift our moods and invigorate our senses. Essential oils can have a really positive benefit on your mood, and just smelling the aroma can get you out of the doldrums and help you feel better. This is because as soon as you smell an essential oil, the nose sends the signal immediately to your limbic system – the part of the brain that deals with emotion. Smelling a good oil is the quickest way to alter your mood, the key is knowing which oils to use.
Using an aromatherapy diffuser with oils has become very popular, and for good reason. It can fill the atmosphere with slow-release essential oils and have positive benefits on emotional and physical health all day long.
