A must-have for the Autumn, Winter seasons but also works great for summer and those who suffer from hay fever. This bundle includes three products from our Nurture Range, including Nurture Breathing Essential Oil to help maintain clear and deep breathing. Nurture Breathing lotion for the chest and neck to maintain healthy respiration and Nurture Breathing Massage Oil to help with easier breathing.
Blended with Eucalyptus, Lavender and Hyssop Essential Oils. They all work hand in hand to maintain a healthy respiratory system, chest and used for asthma, hayfever, bronchitis and other conditions that cause breathing difficulties.
- Eucalyptus Smithii – Supposedly the most gentle Eucalyptus Essential Oil, producing less irritation when applied neat to the skin. Like the other species of Eucalyptus, it has been used as a respiratory treatment for infection, asthma and more chronic conditions, due to its reported analgesic, antiseptic, expectorant and decongestant properties.
- Peppermint – Menthol, peppermint’s major constituent, is known to interact with cold receptors in the airways upon inhalation. This is known to reduce the perception of nasal congestion and increase the perception of nasal airflow and has also been found to reduce the discomfort associated with laboured breathing
- Lavandin Super – Relatively unknown until the 20th Century as it is a hybrid of true lavender and spike lavender. However, it appears to have some properties of both and has been used in aromatherapy for respiratory conditions amongst other essential oils.
- Hyssop – It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine systems and was even mentioned in the bible. Historically, it has been associated with purification, likely due to its decongestant, expectorant, purgative and laxative actions. Hyssop remained popular throughout the centuries and was exploited for its ability to treat respiratory conditions such as asthma and sore throats in various medicaments.
