Our Mobility Essential Oil Blend is blended with Rosemary, Sweet Marjoram, Juniper and Lavender Essential Oils to help maintain joint mobility, healthy muscle tone and suppleness. It can be used in the bath or rubbed on sore, aching muscles for relief from aches, cramps and spasms, as well as relieving rheumatism.

Rosemary in traditional Mexican medicine, macerated rosemary extracts are applied topically for the relief of rheumatic pain (Gonzalez-Trujano et al., 2007). Gonzalez-Trujano et al. (2007) concluded that oral rosemary extract significantly reduced both neurogenic and inflammatory pain.

Sweet Marjoram has not been well studied by the scientific community; however, it has been used as both a culinary herb and as a therapeutic agent since the ancient Greeks. One of its reputed properties is its warming effect, which is thought to be brought about through the dilation of blood vessels allowing a greater flow of blood. This warming effect is thought to help with the stiffness of joints, rheumatic pain and muscular pain, for which it has been used in folk medicine (Lawless, 1997).

Juniper has been used medicinally for many years for a variety of ailments. One of its common uses in aromatherapy is as a treatment for gout, as it is thought to dispel uric acid in the joints (Lawless, 1997)

Lavender True has been documented as a therapeutic agent as far back as the ancient Greeks and Romans. One of its reported uses in folk medicine is as a treatment of rheumatism.

Method Of Use

Use 4-6 drops in the bath or vaporiser.
(Always mix in with bath foam or a suitable carrier when using in the bath.)
