Lime Essential Oil is a pale yellow, olive-green liquid, sweet odour or a water-white or pale yellow liquid with a fresh scent.

It is a small evergreen tree up to 4.5 metres high, stiff sharp spines. Pale green colour, half the size of a lemon. Naturalised in many tropical and subtropical regions around the world. It is cultivated in South Florida, the West Indies, Central America and Italy. The are several species of this fruit which are used to produce different oils. The essential oil is produced by the expressed peel of unripe fruit or the whole crushed fruit.


Blends well with Angelica, Bergamot, Geranium, Linden Blossom, Lavender, Neroli, Palmarosa, Rose, Lavandin, Citronella and Ylang Ylang.
