Grapefruit essential oil is extracted by the expression of the peel. Grapefruit has a fresh, sharp, citrus fruit aroma and is circulatory and uplifting.

There are no known contra-indications and is non-phototoxic. Grapefruit has a shelf-life of only 3 years as it oxides quickly.  The essential oil is used extensively in desserts, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Terpenes (limonene – 90%)
