Olive extra virgin Oil is a bright, vibrant yellow mobile oil, used in most households every day, apart from cooking the oil is used as lubrication, lighting and soap. The oil is calming and emollient and is effective for burns, sprains, bruises, insect bites, and itchy skin. The oil is weakly astringent and antiseptic.

The silvery, green olive plant has always been a symbol of peace, the dove messenger to Noah, the wearing of the olive garlands by the Greeks, the use of the olive branches in the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles and the symbol of the United Nations Flag, (Offering an Olive Branch.) Olive trees begin to produce fruit after 15 years and after that continue producing for hundreds of years, contrary to popular belief black and green olives come from the same trees, the fruit turns from green to black as they ripen.

Safety Data 

May cause allergic reaction- always check allergies. Dandruff is made worse if Olive Oil is applied to a dry scalp and it may cause an allergic reaction. The oil may sensitise when applied topically.
