Advanced Massage
This 2-day course is aimed at the experienced therapist who wants to add further techniques to their 'toolboxes'. It is recommended that the therapist has Intermediate skills prior to attending the course. The course comprises an introduction to neuromuscular techniques and trigger points. Dermatomes and myotomes are discussed along with their effects on pain in the body. Methods of treatment are explored and practiced. There is inclusion of both passive and active movements into massage to mobilize the joints and tone the muscles. Shiatsu and acupressure techniques are introduced into the new massage techniques alongside existing techniques. BUY NOW
Sports Massage
This advanced course explores the effects of exercise on the body and the importance of correct warm up and cool down procedures. Pre and post-sport routines are taught and a general maintenance massage is practiced. The course also includes some A&P revision. There is a focus on specific injuries and methods of treatment. Management of injuries and returning back to exercise after an injury is discussed. Neuro - muscular techniques and intrasound massage are also explored. BUY NOW
Face Lift Massage
This 2-day course teaches students how to use light finger-touch techniques to help delay and improve the signs of aging. This facial routine will not only pamper but will actively relax the facial muscles and help to tighten the skin of the face, neck and décolletage to give a rejuvenated appearance. in-house certificate and for the FHT qualification. The course
teaches a seated full head, neck and shoulder routine and discusses Ayurvedic

Hot Stone Massage
Our Hot Stone courses come in many packages! For the experienced therapist
who would like a post-graduate course, we offer a 2-day crash course giving
opportunity for practice of the placements and movements. You need to be
qualified in massage.
The course will begin with a historical introduction to the basic principles
of using heated stones. Massage techniques for the whole body, (excluding
the face) will be demonstrated and practiced, using the hot stones to relieve
stress and tension. There will be discussion of the healing benefits and
contra-indications and its practical application. Included is a facial treatment
and also an introduction to using hot stones on chakras and meridians. Cost

We also run a Diploma Course that is accredited by ITEC if all modules are
completed and the exam is successful.

Holistic Hand
An intensive 2-day course to teach therapists how to care for the hands and lower arms. The course includes an analysis of hand conditions and skin and nails, revision of the anatomy of the hand, massage of the arm and hand and different oils and carriers to help the various conditions. Lymphatic Drainage Massage
rerequisite – An approved body massage qualification.
This advanced course is offered over 3 - days duration and teaches various methods of lymphatic drainage massage movements, for relief of oedema, sinusitis, low immunity, stress and ME. It can be used on client with fluid retention and lethargy to give energy and mobility. The treatment techniques are light in pressure, but effective. The course is assessed by successful completion of 3 case studies after the course for a certificate of competence; otherwise a certificate of attendance is issued.BUY NOW
Back Care
An informative day of both the theory and the practice of looking after one of our most important bone structures - the back. Full body analysis is taught alongside practical massage manipulations for various back conditions such as sciatica and arthritis. Some essential oils are discussed but it is not necessary to be cognisant with

Gentle Touch Massage (for the infirm)
This is a 2-day course aimed at therapists who treat, or wish to treat the elderly, frail, confused, or mobility-compromised client. As the name suggests, it is a gentle treatment that takes into account their mobility and pain thresholds, accommodating both bed and wheelchair sequences.
The course is also suitable for MS, Parkinsons and Motor Neurone sufferers as well as many other types of pain and conditions.

Pregnancy and Massage Techniques
A 1-day course for massage therapists and aromatherapists who want to give the best possible services to women during their pregnancy. Different massage positions that are comfortable will be taught along with massage movements to relax mother and baby.
