Hi Penny - Just to thank you for a wonderful two days.... As I said, I was dreading the course as the word "chemistry" has always instilled fear into me, especially as it was 15 years ago that I did it. However, the two days were full of interesting information and there are so many things now that I want to try and do.... now that things are clearer and I can understand what the oils do and how they do it. So I need a day off to sit down and go through it all so that I can put it all into perspective, sort out my oils and get myself into gear.... So thank you for explaining it so well.... for the lovely group.... and for the wonderful setting !! Hope everything goes well for you on Saturday... I will be thinking of you. Lynne

Dear Cheryl. I have not heard of any case studies with Diabetic Neuropathy, but will continue to search and let you know! The best carrier oil to use would be Hypericum, as it is healing to the nervous system - I have had great results with it when I have used it to treat varicose ulcers to bring back some feeling to the area. Essential oils for nervous function are a not well referenced, but I have used rosewood, lemongrass and basil for helping with feeling and pain. Hope this helps.

Hello Penny I would like to wish you all the best in readying the academy for its grand opening following the fire. I hope to see you there in the near future. Also I have a question regarding neuropathy in a prospective client's feet (caused by diabetes). I would like to know if there are any aromatherapy case studies I can read on this subject and any advice that you or any readers of this blog can give. Thank you. Cheryl Finch

Hi Everyone I have just about got back down to earth following the French trip. I have a lovely poster of the lavender fields on my wall at work and also managed to find some lavender within the hospital grounds where I work and I have cut some of that and put it underneath my poster - it looks very effective. I hope everyone is well and that you are all not working too hard. It was lovely to meet you all and hopefully may see one or two of you at one of the Hinckley Open Days. I would like to echo what other people have said and thatr it was a most enjoyable trip and a big thank you to Shirley, Len and not forgetting Kate. See you all whenever. Take care June

Hi Penny, We just wanted you to know what a fabulous time we had on the French Tour.A special thankyou to Shirley, Len and Kate for sharing their wonderful knowledge. As Aussies, we don't get to experience many of the things that we did on the Tour. After picking the sage, I now have a new appeciation for the essential oils! It was also great to meet so many wonderful people. Thanks again. Norm and Helen Marshall
Hello Penny et al, Thank you to everyone who went to France, I had a fab time and have come back with renewed passion and admiration for my essential oils. The atmosphere at the monastery was wonderful, the scenery stunning, the people great and the food delicious! Thanks especially to Len, Shirley and Kate for organising it all and making it an unforgetable experience. Bess
